This policy explains what Retainr ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and application at retainr.tech, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email, agency name, and password (stored only as a salted hash).
- Workspace data — the clients, budgets, invoices, payroll, and accounting records you enter. This is yours; we process it only to provide the service.
- Usage analytics — if you accept cookies, anonymised, aggregated usage via Google Analytics 4 (page views, sign-up funnel). Analytics stays off until you accept.
- Technical logs — IP address, browser, and timestamps, kept for security and debugging.
How we use it
To run your workspace, authenticate you, send essential service emails (e.g. welcome, password reset), keep the service secure, and — only with your consent — understand how the product is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Where your data lives
Your workspace data is hosted on Railway, our managed cloud platform, currently in the US West region (Oregon, USA), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. See our Security page for details.
Cookies
We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme. Analytics cookies are optional and load only after you accept the consent banner; you can decline and still use the product fully.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email help@retainr.tech.
